Half A Year Old

So after I posted the last post I realized what day it was...the 9th! Nia's 6 month birthday! The time has flown by. I can't imagine life without her now, she gets to be more and more fun everyday! Happy Day to you Nia! We have an appointment to go get her pictures taken tomorrow. :)

Sunday Games

So anyone who knows us knows we are all about board games! Heres some pictures of Nia playing with the pieces...shes mostly satisfied if she can have a piece to chomp on. We most always have friends over to play with us...heres our buddy Kyle Thackery...hes been playing games with us for over a year now, and hes out here working in tucson for the summer as well. We unofficially dubbed him Nia's "godfather" so here he is giving Nia her first piggy-back ride. :) We also have a lot of friends out here, we like to get together with our babies...going from left to right they are: Jaxson,Trey, Kensie, Crue, Nia, Aubrey, and Addy. Aren't they all so cute? Oh, and Nia can now sit up all by herself...with a few falls, but shes getting there!

Happy Birthday Mike!

So we had a really fun time celebrating. Mike took the day off and we went to P.F. Changs, which we had never tried...and it tasted like chinese food. haha! Ok, so it was like the most delicious chinese food I've ever had! It was really delish. We had the crab won-tons which I highly recommend, as well as the honey glazed shrimp and beef lo-mein. :) Then we were going to go to a water park or something like that but were so tired we came home and took a nap! We also went to the mall and Mike got a couple new games, then we went home and played them and watched Pirates 3. And opened presents and had a home-made ice cream cake I made...I found I recipe that tastes deceptively like D.Q's ice cream cake...Yum! Oh, but a week ago we had a party with some of our friends out here, a few had birthdays around the same time. We had a pinata and I was filling it with candy one night and Nia had a blast playing in it all. She was cracking us up just rolling around in it..grabbing candy then dropping it when another one caught her eye. Overall this birthday was awesome! We made some fun memories and am I ever glad that Mike is such a fun guy!
