Candy Please!!

This Halloween we had a fun time taking Nia trick-or-treating. We only went to a couple friends houses and a neighborhood in our ward, so about 5-6 houses total. But she was happy. She was all set saying trick or treat before we went out, and "candy please" but couldn't spit it out once we were there. :) She loved looking at all her candy when we got home and laying it all out on the table. The past few days shes asked for more "trick or treat"...who wouldn't? She was a kitty cat this year, she LOVES them! It was a super simple costume to make. At first she didn't want to let us paint her face, but we somehow got some whiskers on, and she was cheesing it up at the mirror, she thought it was soooo cool!

We also had some fun making pumpkin sugar cookies. Oh man, were they good! (thanks for the idea michelle!) Nia loved helping every step of the way.

We Have News!

After FOREVER of not posting (i've even annoyed myself) I am ready to hop back into blogging. I've been loving the past month or so in Rexburg, it is sooo pretty with the leaves and I just try to enjoy the mild, jacket weather before it gets too cold. This is my fav. time of year though, there is so much fun stuff to do! We have been doing well, Nia is growing, and her personality is right along with her! She has made us laugh so much lately with her antics and silly expressions, we never know what she is going to say next. She will be a great big sister. What? ?Yep, we are expecting our second baby May 9. We are so excited!! Also, we don't have to go out this summer for work! YEWAH!! So that will just make things simpler.
I feel like I've been neglecting everything the past 2 months. which I have been. I was pretty sick with Nia, I thought I was going to die, but this time it was even worse, and longer. I didn't have to go to the e.r. or anything, but I lost 9 lbs and just was miserable....I have fallen in love with Mike in a whole different way! He's always been helpful, but he completely stepped up to the plate and always washed dishes, always ate out, or somehow found food! haha...anyone who knows me knows that I ALWAYS cook/bake, so it had to be hard on him. He helped so much with Nia, taking her out to play and diaper duty... during the day Nia ate a lot of cold cereal and junk! We survived though, and once I hit 12 weeks I've been gradually feeling better, so things are awesome! I'm pretty much back to normal, and I am SOO grateful, I know some people have it so much worse and lasts so much longer...So, we are happy and expectant!
