Wow! We have had a busy summer! With lots of traveling, vacation, weddings, our first garden, things just have been crazy. But we are all so good and I'm looking forward to having things slow down again. Nia and Mae sure love each other, and they have been playing so well lately. Nia has such a gift of helping cheer people up. She is such a goof-ball. She came up with the game of "squeaking" Mae's tummy. She just grabs it with her hand. It ALWAYS makes her laugh a big belly laugh! So now when Mae is fussy we'll just ask Nia to squeak her tummy and it cheers her right up. Mae is our cheerful one. She has a laugh for everyone, even if it's sometimes fake. :) She has started doing the cutest "YAY!! and waving her arms up and down when we say she can watch baby signing time, or anything else she asks for.
Nia loves playing behind the couch. She'll be the little mermaid and get on top of the pillow and pretend its her dolphin she's riding. One day I found her asleep back there!

On a visit to Aunt Marty Mae and Ella playing. Mae just thinks she's the cutest thing and will say "Ella..." over and over again.
Nia and Zeb get into trouble together. Nia just thinks zeb is soo funny, and he is! Here they are each wearing one each of two pairs of dress-up shoes. She talks about this little guy all the time, and we sure love being at Aunt Martys! I think she would be totally fine if I just left her there...
