So I haven't really thought about posting till now-we've been getting all settled, etc. But we really love it here. I thought I'd post a few pics of our apartment. My favorite thing about them is the huge windows and tall ceilings. It feels a little like a hotel because its inside, but the main entrance is kept locked and I feel very safe whenever mike has to travel to his other offices. Today it was raining like crazy! In church it was sooo loud, I was kinda looking around wondering if I was the only one hearing it! I guess it has been really dry here so it was much appreciated. I came home and the grass outside and parts of the trees are instantly green! Its pretty amazing how quickly that happened. (I'm not exaggerating either!) We are settling in here, we are 2 blocks from a mall with a target, and there are a few other favorite stores nearby. I've already found a doctor for Nia that I really like, and can navigate around without a gps most of the time! Whoohoo! I am getting the hang of this! So, enough talk, here are the pics!

Fun! I like how your kitchen is open to the living room. It looks nice! It's the same here with the rain; it rains and it's all green, but then if it doesn't keep raining, it goes back to brown really fast. Pretty crazy! Hope you're not too lonely!
